The BAS connects daily instruction with district-wide assessments, empowering data-driven decisions at every level. It includes:

• Formative School & District license (previously Formative Gold)
  Administer classroom assessments, deliver data-informed instruction, and provide targeted feedback—all in one place to accelerate student growth.

• Item Bank
  ​Create assessments that show where students are and guide them to mastery—one question at a time.

  Use the Item Bank to create high-quality, standards-aligned assessments with pre-made items. Customize questions easily, then view detailed item-level performance on standards, questions, and item types.

• Respondus LockDown Browser
  Administer secure assessments with a locked browser.

  Create a secure testing environment with three levels of security. Block application switching, printing, screen captures, and copying/pasting to ensure exam integrity.

• Translations (new!)
  Translate assessments into students’ native languages, ensuring educators gather insights that accurately reflect what students know and can do.

  Translate activities for student comprehension and engagement. Start with Spanish, Arabic, and Chinese, with more languages coming soon!

• Consultative Implementation Services (new!)
  Get expert guidance to create purposeful, high-quality common assessments aligned with your district strategy.

  Align the Balanced Assessment Suite with your district's assessment strategy through expert-led sessions. Train up to 10 team members to create their first common assessment, with ongoing support for a smooth transition to Customer Success.
